Well. Going by an image search on the 'net, many people have made something like this, so, someone please hold the bandwagon for a moment so I can climb in, too. Thanks.

I've always wanted to make my own version of the N7 dogtag, but I was trying something different here. If nothing else, it combines several techniques I wanted to try. This tag has 'damage' and isn't fully legible. Let's pretend it was retrieved from Alchera ;)

Cast from sterling silver, background structure and letters etched, coloured with liver of sulphur, accented with white, red and black enamel. 'Standard' format 5x2.8 cm

It looks even better with the damage. You could say this is all they recovered from the Citadel or whatnot, but I think with all the action Shepard has seen, her dogtags wouldn't be in pristine condition. Fantastic job and with the design in the metal behind the N7 I'd say yours is very original even if the concept isn't.
